Eye Tracking
Eye Tracking (ET) and Pupillary Light Reflex (PLR)
About#
Eye-tracking (ET) sessions will consist of four paradigms administered in a fixed order: PLR, Activity Monitoring, Social Interactive, and Static Social Scenes. All paradigms have been selected and adapted from the ABC-CT battery (Shic et al., 2022), which established these tasks as feasible, valid, and stable biomarkers in children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Stimuli will be presented on identical display monitors and controlled via identically configured presentation computers using Neurobehavioral Systems Presentation software. The ET session is expected to take approximately 20-30 minutes for most participants.

Quality Control#
All eye-tracking data will be uploaded immediately after collection, and it will undergo quality review within 24 hours of upload to confirm that ET files are readable with the expected stimulus markers, calibration error. Data quality will be assessed based on calibration accuracy (<1° average error), percentage of valid gaze samples, and participant compliance with task instructions. Sessions failing quality criteria will be flagged for potential re-testing.
