About#
The Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, 3rd Edition (PDMS-3) is an assessment tool designed to evaluate the motor skills of children from birth to 6 years. It covers both fine and gross motor skills, with subtests focusing on reflexes, stationary skills, locomotion, object manipulation, grasping, and visual-motor integration. The PDMS-3 provides detailed insights into a child’s motor development and is useful in diagnosing motor skill delays, planning interventions, and studying patterns in early motor development across different populations. The PDMS-3 will be used to assess participants up to age 6 years, as well as older participants who are unable to obtain a valid score on the MABC-3.
