Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development-4
About#
The Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, 4th Edition (Bayley-4) is a standardized, examiner-administered assessment of early developmental functioning in children from 1 to 42 months of age. It evaluates cognitive, language (receptive and expressive), and motor (fine and gross) development, and can also include parent-reported social-emotional and adaptive behavior domains. The Bayley-4 provides norm-referenced composite scores that are widely used to identify developmental delays and characterize neurodevelopmental profiles. The Bayley-4 will be used to assess participants up to age 42 months, as well as older participants who are unable to obtain valid scores on the SB5.
