About#
The Aberrant Behavior Checklist (ABC) is an assessment tool designed to measure problem behaviors in individuals with developmental disorders, including those with autism. It comprises five subscales: irritability, lethargy, stereotypic behavior, hyperactivity, and inappropriate speech. Completed by caregivers or clinicians, the ABC is useful for quantifying behavioral disturbances, evaluating the efficacy of interventions, and exploring correlations between behaviors and other developmental variables. It provides a standardized measure to track changes over time in aberrant behaviors.
